First English language edition, translated from the second revised German edition.  viii, 80, 8pp, with black and white plate illustrations and diagrams etc in text.  Deep green cloth-covered boards, titles blind stamped on upper panel and gilded on spine.  8vo.  Cloth is a little worn, gently rubbed and rounded on corners and spine tips.  A little spotting and toning to endpapers, gutter slightly strained ahead of half title page, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
